We Support: Modilon Hospital Children’s Ward
The Sir Brian Bell Foundation and Brian Bell Group Wish Tree Appeal is in its 6th successful year of supporting numerous worthy charities and causes across Papua New Guinea. A total of K223,632 was raised nationally during our annual Christmas Wish tree promotion in 2022 with 100% of the funds raised being distributed to the nominated charities, the Sir Brian Bell Foundation additionally made a secondary donation of K20,000 to each of the selected charities.
In a special cheque presentation, Brian Bell Homecentres Madang team members Flossy Wek, Maria Alois, Ruth Wangiwan and Jacquelyn Kube presented a cheque of K24,264 to our nominated Madang Wish Tree Charity Modillion Hospital Children’s Ward. To receive the cheque were Modilon Hospital team Nursing Sister So’on, Dr Tina Yarong and Dr Jimmy Aipit.
“On behalf of the Children’s Ward, Paediatric Unit, Madang Provincial Hospital (MaPHA), I would like to sincerely thank the Sir Brian Bell Foundation and Brian Bell Homecentres Madang for donating the funds raised over the festive season through SBBF’s Wish Tree Appeal. We are grateful to be presented with the cheque valuing K24, 264.00. These funds will go a long way in helping our sick children, especially now at this time when we are faced with frequent shortages of essential items needed for their care” Resident Paediatrician Dr Tina Yarong said.
