We Support: Kumura Foundation

The Sir Brian Bell Foundations main focus remains on supporting the key areas of Health and Education and works in partnership with the Kumura Foundation to assist the communities in rural PNG such as upper Bundi and Mt Wilhelm access a quality education and medical supplies.

Through the partnership with the Kumura Foundation, the Sir Brian Bell Foundation has provided support though the donation of health and education supplies from books, medicine, generators, TV’s, and DVD players to watch educational items and more.

We have also assisted with the sponsorship of 7 students from remote Bundi to complete certifications in first aid and nutrition at the Kundiawa CHW Training Institution in Simbu which will assist rural communities access healthcare when needed.

Sir Brian Bell Foundation has also partnered with the Kumura Foundation to ensure that the 12,000 people living along the Ramu River Delta in the rural areas of Upper and Lower Bundi, Madang Province get access to health services.

Additionally, over 1000 people were distributed mosquito nets along the Ramu River to conduct awareness, test and treat Malaria patients.

In 2024 we also assisted with the opening of ‘Sir. Brian Bell Foundation Haus’ at the Gembogl Orphan Resource Centre ACE School located in Simbu. The centre has capacity to cater for 80 orphans and disadvantage students aged between 5 –14 years of age in remote Bundi.

We will continue to assist Kumura Foundation in their mission to support people throughout rural PNG.
