We Support: Kudjip Nazarene Hospital

Sir Brian Bell Foundation donates K32,534 to Kudjip Nazarene Hospital from the Christmas Wish Tree promotion.

The Sir Brian Bell Foundation Wish Tree Appeal is in its 7th successful year of supporting numerous worthy charities and causes across Papua New Guinea in partnership with the Brian Bell Group. A total of K235,396 was raised nationally during our annual Christmas Wish tree promotion in 2023 with 100% of the funds raised being distributed to the nominated charities, the Sir Brian Bell Foundation additionally made a secondary donation of K20,000 to each of the selected charities.

Our nominated Mt Hagen Charity was Kudjip Nazarene General Hospital which is a 40-minute drive out of Hagen town in Jiwaka Province. It is the only hospital in the area and attends to 200- 300 patients’ needs daily.

Assistant Branch Manager Homecentre Mt Hagen Melissa Mervyn met with Kudjip Nazarene Hospital CEO Mr Joseph Sika and the hospital team in a special presentation yesterday to provide the K32,534 donation also joined by additional Sir Brian Bell Foundation Support Squad Team Members Senior Homecentre Sales Representative Charlie Don.

The staff and Management of Kudjip Nazarene General Hospital send their Sincere Appreciation to SBBF for the donation for this donation. CEO Mr Joseph Sika also mentioned that the donation would also be used to purchase new microscopes for their laboratory as well as necessary medicines.
