We Support: Cheshire Disability Services PNG
A special donation was made to Cheshire Disability Services.
A donation of clothing items was made to Cheshire Disability Services in Port Moresby in April 2025 for residents of Cheshire Homes and those who are living with disabilities in the community. The Brian Bell Group has a longstanding partnership with Cheshire Disability Services and the special donation today was made by Power Protection Industries (PPI) and facilitated through the Trade Electrical division.
This initiative stems from PPI’s ongoing business relationship with BBTE and its interest in supporting the foundation’s work. In the 20ft container which was sent from Australia was six cartons of clothing which included a wide range of shirts, pants, and bottoms.
Cheshire Disability Services provides a wide range of services for persons with disabilities in the community including the Differently Abled Employment Program which provides employment opportunities to people living with disabilities. The program which is supported by the Brian Bell Group and the Sir Brian Bell Foundation promotes diversity and inclusion as well as sign language training available for team members. Currently the Brian Bell Group employs 4 differently abled team members across the business in Port Moresby.
Cheshire Homes General Manager Gerald Bengessar accepted the donation today from Trade Electrical GM Nazar Shaffee, and Priscillar Napoleon from SBBF as well as Sir Brian Bell Foundation Support Squad team members including Joshua Ases, who joined the Brian Bell Group through the Differently-Abled Program in 2024.
Brian Bell Trade Electrical General Manager Nazar Shaffee stated, “SBBF’s efforts are recognised locally and by our offshore suppliers. We will continue working hard to secure more donations as part of our business’s sustainability aspect.”
Well, done to Cheshire Disability Services for your continued work in the community and we are glad to see this donation will be beneficial for men and women in Cheshire Homes and the surrounding areas. Check out more of their work on their socials. https://www.facebook.com/CDSPNG/
