We Support: The House with a Yellow Ribbon

The House with a Yellow Ribbon receives a cheque from Sir Brian Bell Foundation from Christmas Wish Tree promotion.

In 2022 the Sir Brian Bell Foundation and Brian Bell Group Christmas Wish Tree Appeal raised K223,632 nationally. These funds are used to support many numerous worthy charities and causes across Papua New Guinea.

Our selected Kimbe charity the House with a Yellow Ribbon provides a sanctuary for those escaping violence in their homes as well as provides education to the community on Gender based violence and Family Sexual Violence as well as advocating for those who require support in the area.

On the weekend our Sir Brian Bell Foundation Support Squad team led by Brian Bell Homecentres Branch Manager Helen Sisimutu presented a cheque to the House with a Yellow Ribbon for K22,148. The funds donated will assist those individuals and families in need of support as it’s the only safe haven in the area.

The House of the Yellow Ribbon Director MS Jennifer Aigilo was very excited and emotional upon receiving the cheque and thanked the Sir Brian Bell Foundation and Brian Bell Group for the Wish Tree initiative.
