We Support: Eastern Highlands Family Voice

Eastern Highlands Family Voice receives a cheque from Sir Brian Bell Foundation after successful Christmas Wish Tree promotion.

The Sir Brian Bell Foundation Wish Tree Appeal is in its 6th successful year of supporting numerous worthy charities and causes across Papua New Guinea. A total of K223,632 was raised nationally during our annual Christmas Wish tree promotion in 2022 with 100% of the funds raised being distributed to the nominated charities, the Sir Brian Bell Foundation additionally made a secondary donation of K20,000 to each of the selected charities.

Our nominated Goroka Wish Tree Charity was Eastern Highlands Family Voice who were presented a cheque in a special presentation at Goroka Homecentre last weekend. Brian Bell Group Homecentre Store Manager Patrick Dunks, Vellyn Warena (Brian Bell Admin Manager) presented a cheque for K23,988 to the Eastern Highlands Family Voice Board Chairman Meriam Layton and Family Voice Manager Joan Maima.

This donation will assist the Eastern Highlands Family Voice which is working to prevent gender-based violence and family-sexual violence in the Eastern Highlands through their counselling services, and community and school training programs.
