We Support: Turtle Bag Foundation

Sir Brian Bell Foundation welcomes a new Foundation Family member – Turtle Bag Foundation.

We are proud of our partnership with the Turtle Bag Foundation which is a non-profit organization that supports the growth and development of early childhood learning in the rural areas of Papua New Guinea. Their main goal is to provide school stationery supplies before their academic year starts saving parents time and money in travelling sometimes days to ensure their children have what they need for the school year. This in turn improves literacy rates and keeps children more engaged in their studies to complete their education.

Through this partnership, we have provided financial support to continue their operations as well as worked with Buk Bilong Pikinini to provide 1000 books to kids in need to be distributed across their networks for kids aged 3-16 years. This initial donation will support 3 rural elementary schools in WNBP, followed by 4 others in ESP & AROB with Turtle bags stationaries and library books.

“Learning is an essential part of life and a human right, and we need to ensure kids get the best start in their education no matter where they are across the country. We are thrilled to support such a wonderful initiative to see an increase in the number of kids attending school and ensure they have the supplies they need for a successful school year” commented Sir Brian Bell Foundation CEO Bronwyn Wright.
